Hi!
My name is Marcus Larsson, I am 21 years old, and I am currently studying Media & Communication with a focus on visual communication and design. I am in my second of three years, and every day I develop my skills in visual creation, idea work and digital design.
My interest in graphic design started early, as an 11-year-old I started experimenting with Photoshop, which later evolved into shooting and editing video. Since then visual aesthetics have been a natural part of my life. For me, design is both a way of expression, and a way to create clearer, stronger and more meaningful communication.
Before university, I studied economics at high school in Karlstad, which gave me an understanding of structure, marketing and how design can create value in a larger context. At this school me and my friend had the opportunity to create and market a clothing brand which we called "Plaza Rebels". This was a short lived project, but i was in charge of the visual branding and marketing, and we sold out in our first drop of hoodies!
In my youth i also spent five years of primary school in South Korea, a period that shaped my view of culture, aesthetics and communication.
Today, I am driven by creating design that "feels"...visually, conceptually and functionally. I want to continue developing, exploring new expressions and working on projects that are both creative and meaningful.
